A FITTING CONCLUSION
In the final story of the Zeeka chronicles, we are introduced to a new character, Eve.
Eve is the attractive robot helper that Stephen purchased for his wife, Mandy.
In this last story, we also meet again Number Nine, a character who appeared in the first story.
Eve and Number Nine meet in Stephen's backyard, and Number Nine confides to Eve his deepest wish.
He wants to be a regular person, and not a hideous being that is scary to people.
Number Nine is actually the real son of Stephen's adopted father, the police chief who became known as Zeeka and who committed suicide after he was captured. Number Nine was born with a brain defect, but it was mistaken for the zika virus. He was then raised as one of the zombies created by Zeeka.
Stephen's comfortable life on the island of Gosh was once more interrupted by this contact from the past. Stephen had actually created a machine that could perform miracle operations, and Number Nine was keen to be the first to have Stephen use the Miracle machine on him. Number Nine was brought to the hospital after having a fit in Stephen's backyard and insisted on having his appearance changed by Stephen's machine.
Despite Dr. Brown's objections, the operation was performed and was successful. Number Nine became a normal-looking person and was given a real name instead of a number.
Once again, Stephen gained renown for his marvellous work, and the island of Gosh was well-known for its famous scientist. Despite Dr. Brown's skepticism and some initial setbacks, everything worked out fine. Although people had originally thought that Number Nine was one of the zombies, he was, in fact, a human. Unlike the other zombies, he had refused to participate in the massacre at the carnival celebration on the island two years ago. He had escaped and had been hiding out and living with his aunt and uncle.
Now all the loose ends have been tied up. There are no more missing zombies. We have a great new society with a wonderful invention that can cure all maladies. It is an apt end to the scare of zika and the zombies. The world is now a safer and happier place, and the threat of zombies and diseases seems to be eliminated.
The author has done an excellent job of making all the events come together to reward the good and make the world a better place for all!
